Merit Score Creteria

Final Merit for admission is determined by calcualting the 25% Weightage of Entrance Marks and 75% Weightage of the Graducation Marks

Final Merit = Entrance Score + Graducation Score + Concerned Subject

How your score is calculated for Merit List.?

Total Graduation Marks= 2352/3000, Total Concerned PG Subject(e.g Math ) Marks in all Semesters= 448/600

So we add both Marks i.e. 2352+448 = 2800 out of 3000+600= 3600. I.e. 2800/3600 Now the Percentage of the Marks is = 77.77%. As we now that 75% weightage is given to Graduation Marks. 75% of 77.77 = 63.39
So the Graduation weightage score is 63.39.

Entrance Marks: 94/150, Percentage:=62.666%

25% Weightage of Entrance Marks: 25% of 62.666 = 15.6667

So the Entrance Test weightage Score is 15.6667

Final Merit points = 63.39 + 15.666 =74.00

For MCA/M.Com/B.Lib/M.Lib/PG Diploma: only Graduation Marks is counted.

For M.Ed: Marks obtained at the B.Ed. examination: Theory= 80% Pratice of Teaching 20%

UG Programme: Marks obtained in the 10+2 Examinations
